Lorrie Schaub to Lead On-Site Staffing Team at AVI-SPL
Howard Haberman Announces Retirement
TAMPA, Fla. May 20, 2010 – AVI-SPL, the largest global integrator of audio visual and video conferencing systems and services today announced the transition of Lorrie Schaub to Program Manager for AVI-SPL’s industry leading on-site staffing strategy.
AVI-SPL’s Strategic Accounts team, led by Executive VP Don Mastro, is primarily responsible for the strategic approach to vertical market business development and added the managed on-site staffing strategy as a support overlay to the Strategic Accounts team last month. Services include the pre-sales pricing development strategy and post-sales operations standards for managed on-site staffing supporting the AVI-SPL Strategic Accounts team and Systems Integration Group.
“Lorrie has a history with AVI-SPL in managed on-site staffing with her former positions as Program Manager in Strategic Accounts and General Manager of our Detroit office. She has extensive experience in developing process and procedures in pricing, hiring, and operational delivery with several Fortune 100 accounts in the manufacturing and financial services vertical markets,” stated Mastro.
“Lorrie is a perfect fit to lead the managed on-site staffing effort for AVI-SPL,” said Bob Waterson, Program Manager, AVI-SPL. “I’m looking forward to her leading this initiative.”
In a related move, Howard Haberman has retired after 12 years of service with the company. Schaub will assume Haberman’s role and responsibilities in her new position. “Howard had just moved into our Strategic Accounts organization and will be missed as a valuable resource. This is a great time in one’s life to be able to retire and enjoy the fruits of years of service. I am happy for Howard and his family,” Mastro stated.
